You’ll first experience a peaceful 12-kilometer hidden village road, untouched by mass tourism. Immerse yourself in tranquil scenery with lush mountains, clear rivers, and unspoiled natural beauty.
Afternoon
Visit Lung Tam village, renowned for traditional H'Mong brocade weaving. Witness local artisans skillfully crafting vibrant textiles using natural dyeing methods and ancient weaving techniques, and find meaningful handmade souvenirs.
Proceed to Du Gia, a peaceful Tay ethnic village, and relax at Du Gia Moon Homestay, featuring traditional local architecture.
After dinner, groups of 4 or more guests will enjoy a unique cultural exchange, including Tay ethnic Then singing performances accompanied by traditional Tinh instruments, and an interactive bamboo dancing experience.
Smaller groups will enjoy a cozy karaoke evening with the host family.
After breakfast, embark on a hidden scenic 20-kilometer road rarely visited by tourists. Enjoy a relaxing 1.5-kilometer walk to admire spectacular panoramic views of terraced rice fields, capturing unforgettable photos.
Stop at Ban Ang Stream, famous for its crystal-clear emerald water flowing from a natural cave. Here, you'll enjoy bamboo rafting, swimming, or simply relaxing. If calm, you might see wild fish swimming beneath the surface.
After lunch in Mau Due, journey to the majestic Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s greatest mountain passes. Stop at two viewpoints to marvel at dramatic mountain landscapes and the stunning Nho Que River.
Arrive in Dong Van town, checking into your homestay rich with local culture.
After dinner, choose from two experiences:

Leaving Dong Van town, the group sets off to conquer the famous Tham Ma Pass—one of the most scenic and winding mountain roads in Ha Giang. This is a perfect spot to breathe in the fresh highland air and capture stunning photos of the dramatic natural landscape.
The journey continues to Yen Minh town, where you’ll stop at the Lao Va Chai viewpoint, a beautiful location offering panoramic views of rolling hills, scattered villages, and vibrant terraced fields nestled along the mountain slopes.
After lunch in Trang Kim town, the adventure continues with a series of authentic and off-the-beaten-path experiences:
Explore a 15-kilometer hidden village trail: This serene and lesser-known route winds through peaceful forests and rural areas. You'll feel deeply connected to the untouched nature and everyday life of ethnic minority communities.
Visit the Vietnam–China border: At this special stop, you’ll have the opportunity to stand right at the boundary between two nations and reflect on the historical and cultural crossroads of the region.
Scenic viewpoint near a local elementary school: A quiet, picturesque place where you can enjoy the peaceful countryside, while observing glimpses of daily life from the local children in the mountains.
Arrive at Nam Dam village – home of the Red Dao ethnic group: After weaving through charming village paths, you'll reach Nam Dam—a traditional village known for its rich cultural heritage and distinctive earthen-walled houses.
Upon checking in and having dinner with a Red Dao host family, you’ll unwind with a uniquely local wellness experience: a traditional herbal bath of the Red Dao people. This age-old remedy uses a mixture of over 20 medicinal forest herbs to help relax your body, soothe your muscles after a long day of riding, and restore inner balance—leaving you feeling calm, refreshed, and deeply connected to the land.
Half Day Trekking And Discovering Mã Pí Lèng Pass
*We will start from the homestay around 09 Am after your breakfast. On the motorbike we will take you from the homestay across the first part of Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the four most beautiful and adventurous passes in Vietnam, you will be able to experience the beautiful road and scenery by motorbike for about 8-10 km . You will stop at the museum to remember the gratitude of those who worked hard to create the legendary pass. You will have about 10-15 minutes to visit. During that time, the guide will arrange to buy parking tickets and prepare other things essential for the best walking trip. Right from the museum, you have the opportunity to see the beautiful and majestic mountains of Ha Giang next to the legendary Nho Que river of the distant war that is China.
After you go uphill for about 2km, you will have the opportunity to visit Death Rock where you can take beautiful photos, but we recommend that visitors should not climb up because it is quite slippery and risky. Continuing the journey, you will discover houses perched on cliffs that rely on rainwater and grow food very high on the mountain top. You also have the opportunity to meet Hmong children. Along the way you can talk and learn about the unique culture of the indigenous people. Continuing the journey, you will reach the viewing point where you start walking across the white cliff, the highest vertical cliff of Ma Pi Leng pass.
This walking path is only about 0,6-1 meter size and has stone steps, but we guarantee that you will have the best and most special experiences on this path. You can see the view down to the Nho Que River and Tu San alley are also the deepest alleys in Southeast Asia. On this road crossing the white cliff is the most beautiful part of our journey. Every time you turn on the engine, you will have beautiful photos for about 5km. Then you will have the opportunity to visit a small H'mong village. Before finishing your walk in the morning. You will trekking about 8km. Then the driver will take you back to Dong Van town for lunch.
And then from Dong Van we move to Tham Ma Pass, stop to admire the scenery and take pictures. Then go to Yen Minh town, go to Lao Va Chải View point-Stop to admire the scenery and take pictures. Then go to Cán Tỷ panorama-Stop to admire the scenery and take pictures. Then go to Nậm Đăm village. Finally, we went to spend the night in a village of the Red Dao ethnic people.
