Day 1: Vientiane arrive - Half Day City (N/A)

Upon arrival at the airport, our team will pick you up and transfer you to Vientiane city.

Begin your exploration with a half-day city tour, starting at Wat Sisaket, the oldest and one of the most beautiful temples in Vientiane. Next, visit Wat Ho Phra Keo, the former royal temple that once housed the Emerald Buddha.

On the way to the iconic That Luang Stupa – Laos’ most revered national monument – you’ll have a chance to stop and take photos at the majestic Patuxay Monument, often compared to the Arc de Triomphe.

After the tour, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Overnight in Vientiane city.

Day 2: Vientiane - Nam Ngum Lake - Vientiane (B)

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up for a scenic journey to Nam Ngum Lake, a stunning reservoir created by the damming of the Nam Ngum River.

On the way, we’ll stop at Ban Keun, known for its salt extraction plant, and visit a local Lao village where traditional rice wine (lao lao) is distilled — a great opportunity to experience authentic local culture.

Upon arrival at the lake, we’ll board a long-tail boat and cruise among the fisherman villages spread across the peaceful islands. You’ll have the chance to explore picturesque islets and even take a short walk to observe the traditional fishing lifestyle up close.

On our return, if time permits, you may choose to stop at a legal Lao casino, nestled in the valley. From there, enjoy a panoramic view of the lake, offering a cool, peaceful break from the city’s heat.

By the late evening, we’ll drive back to Vientiane, where you can unwind and relax at your hotel.

Day 3: Vientiane Departure (B)

After breakfast, enjoy some free time at your leisure until our team transfers you to the airport for your onward flight.
